IN THE STREETS & ON THE WEB

Foxy Brown didn't let last week's arrest deter her from putting on a gutsy performance in Times Square Sunday night.
The "Ill Na Na" rapper from Brooklyn was greeted by hundreds of fans cheering her name as she hit the stage about 11:30 p.m. at B.B. King Blues Club & Grill.

"This is what we tell all the haters: You can't keep a good bitch down," she said, laughing off her arrest. "We makes bail."

She rocked the crowd, performing hits "Candy" and "Get You Home." Reggae artist Spragga Benz joined her onstage to perform "Oh Yeah."

Brown, whose real name is Inga Merchand, was arrested on Wednesday for bad-mouthing her nemesis neighbor, Arlene Raymond, who had an order of protection against her.

Brown, 30, pleaded not guilty to one count of criminal contempt - a felony - for violating the order of protection, which bars her from having contact with Raymond. She was released Thursday on $5,000 bail.

Brown was rehearsing in her Prospect Heights home Wednesday before her ugly encounter with Raymond, whom the rapper was accused of beaning with a BlackBerry in 2007.

The raunchy rapper even lifted her skirt at Raymond during the latest incident.

If convicted, Brown faces up to seven years behind bars.

She's due back in court on Tuesday.
