Foxy Brown isn't blue, despite a recent snub by VH1.
The recent VH1 special, “Hip Hop Honors: All Hail the Queens," spotlighting female rappers Missy Elliott, Queen Latifah and Lil Kim — among others — didn’t include Brown.
In a lengthy Instagram posted Wednesday, Brown, born Inga DeCarlo Fung Marchand, blew off the diss with a video featuring Lauryn Hill, who was also absent from the ceremony.
"Personally, I’d Prefer Being Held To A Much Higher Standard In My Walk, after all, guys this is VH1," the Brooklyn-born rapper wrote, adding that she's focusing on a new album — her first in eight years.
She continued, "My Girl L BOOGIE (My Fav) And I, Have The Dopest Convo, Cracking Jokes In Our Caribbean Accents As She Prepares For An Amazing Overseas Tour," Brown, 37, said of Hill.
It's unknown why Brown, who has publicly feuded with Lil Kim and Queen Latifah, was excluded from the ceremony.
