Former Destiny’s Child Singer Farrah Franklin Arrested For Public Intoxication

A former Destiny's Child singer was arrested Thursday after cops found her drunk and disorderly outside a Georgia gym.

Farrah Franklin — who performed with the girl group from 1999 to 2000 — was taken into custody after cops noticed her slurring her words and smelling of alcohol, TMZ reports.

Authorities say Franklin got into a disagreement with a male friend in front of the gym at around 3 a.m., shortly before they arrived at the scene.

When the officers urged her to go home, she reportedly refused and allegedly said, "These n----s won't leave me alone."

She remained defiant when the cops asked her how much she had to drink, allegedly replying "Not enough."

The 35-year-old was booked in DeKalb County shortly after and charged with public intoxication and possession of a small amount of marijuana.

She remained in custody as of Thursday afternoon, with her bail set at $250, according to TMZ.

Franklin was previously arrested for disorderly conduct in 2011 and 2014, with both incidents involving alcohol, TMZ reported after the second arrest.

The Los Angeles native was named an official member of Destiny's Child in 2000, joining at the same time as Michelle Williams. The duo replaced former groupmates LaTavia Roberson and LeToya Luckett.

Six months later, however, she left the group. Beyoncé later told MTV that her exit was a mutual decision after she missed a series of major promotional events.
