Former Bad Boy Artist Mark Curry Accuses JAY-Z, Diddy Of Getting Rich & Refusing To Help Others

Former Bad Boy artist Mark Curry recently called out JAY-Z and Diddy for getting rich and refusing to bless others. Mark Curry, who was signed to Bad Boy Records from 1997 to 2005, aired out the controversial moguls on Instagram Live. He addressed the legal troubles they are facing due to sexual misconduct allegations and his belief that they are a result of divine intervention. “You know why they going through what they going through?” he asked his viewers. “Because you don’t do God’s children that way. They crazy. “Don’t think that Jay Z and Puff are the biggest moguls ever,” Curry added. “They are great people, but what you wanna look at is the great people that weren’t able to become because of them people, so we gonna leave them there. How many people could’ve been greater that weren’t made because of their empowerment?” Curry also called out Hov for not reaching out to him with a helping hand and asserted that Diddy “had the power to help other people” and chose not to. This wasn’t Mark Curry’s first time calling Diddy out for mishandling others as it relates to business or music. In 2009, he released a book titled Dancing With The Devil where he claimed that the Bad Boy founder adopted his musical style for his 1998 single “Come With Me,” forced himself onto his artists’ tracks so he could charge a high rate for guest spots, insisted on sports cars appearing in videos so he could take high rental fees from their budgets, claimed production and songwriting credits on songs where he did neither, and more. Curry is one of several former Bad Boy signees with horror stories about the former REVOLT chairman, but it is his allegations since 2023 that have been even more horrifying to the masses. Puff has been in jail since September 2024 after being arrested for racketeering conspiracy and sex trafficking, closing off an almost-year of lawsuits sent his way beginning with his ex-girlfriend Cassie.
