Rapper Flavor Flav canned his second lawyer as a plea offer in his Long Island traffic case was revoked Tuesday.
The criminal case against the 56-year-old, clock-wearing singer stems from a traffic stop last year while driving to his mother’s funeral.
He has pleaded not guilty to a felony charge of driving with a suspended license and speeding in Nassau County.
There was discussion of a plea deal on Tuesday, but the judge and prosecutor said it had been revoked.
It remains unclear why Flav, whose real name is William Drayton, fired his latest lawyer.
Prosecutors say he was driving 79 mph in a 55-mph zone when his black Hyundai was pulled over on the Meadowbrook State Parkway in Hempstead on Jan. 9, 2014.
Prosecutors say Flav has had his license suspended 15 times.
The entertainer, who was born on Long Island, is also facing a charge of driving under the influence in Las Vegas where he lives.
