Flavor Flav Arrested On DUI, Speeding & Marijuana Possession Charges

Flavor Flav will have to fight the power through the legal system.

The Public Enemy founding member was arrested early Thursday morning in Las Vegas on allegations of driving under the influence, speeding, marijuana possession (less than an ounce) and having an open container of alcohol.

It didn't help that Flavor Flav, whose real name is William Drayton Jr., was also driving with a suspended driver's license and registration, cops said.

Nevada Highway Patrol spokesman Loy Hixson told the Associated Press that the 56-year-old rapper had been driving his 2005 black BMW at 73 mph in a 45 mph zone near the city's McCarran International Airport at the time of the 12:30 a.m. arrest.

It's a recurring tune.

The Roosevelt, L.I.-product was arrested in January 2014 for speeding, driving with a suspended license and carrying a small amount of weed — while racing to his mom's funeral.

Flav and Public Enemy are next scheduled to play at the BottleRock Napa Valley Festival on May 29.
