Fetty Wap’s bad weekend just got worse — the rapper has been slapped with three summonses for the motorcycle crash that injured him in his New Jersey hometown.
The “Trap Queen” star, 25, has been cited for driving without a license, not having insurance and failing to produce a vehicle registration card after the Saturday accident, Paterson police said.
The rapper, real name Willie Maxwell, suffered injuries that were not considered life-threatening when he smashed his father’s motorcycle into a car while riding alone in the afternoon. A woman in the car was injured and treated at a hospital.
Fetty Wap’s rep on Sunday did not give updates on his condition and did not immediately return a request for comment.
The rapper’s bad luck streak started a day after the release of his self-titled debut album. He is set to begin a national tour on Tuesday with a show at Pacha in New York. It’s unclear if the concerts will now be rescheduled.
