Offset tweeted — then deleted — his thoughts on the arrest warrant issued for allegedly smacking a fan’s phone out of his hand.
“HARDEST THING I EVER DONE WAS BEING A BLACK MEN (TARGET) AND A RAPPER (TARGET) s–t is crazy !!!” the Migos rapper posted on Thursday.
The tweet was taken down minutes later.
Police in Sandy Springs, Ga., have issued an arrest warrant for Offset, who’s married to Cardi B, over the encounter at a Target last Thursday.
The fan, Richard Gibbons, 18, told cops he spotted Offset near the exit of the store and began filming him with his phone. That’s when the rapper “came over and hit his phone,” sending it crashing to the floor, Sgt. Sam Worsham said.
The screen of Gibbons phone, which was valued at $800, shattered, said Worsham.
Cops are charging Offset with criminal damage of property in the second degree, a felony.
“At this time, we’ve been in contact with his attorney and we’re making arrangements for him to turn himself in,” said Worsham. “At this time, he has not turned himself in. The warrant is still active."
What's that on Cardi B's lips ..........
