Fans Don't Like Kanye West’s New Foam Runner ‘Yeezy Crocs’

Kanye West‘s latest Yeezy designs might not have the same sold-out success of his prior launches.

Fans first started buzzing about the 42-year-old rapper’s new Foam Runner footwear back in June, when his 6-year-old daughter, North West, was spotted wearing the unreleased prototypes, instantly inspiring comparisons to Crocs.

Now, devotees of the musician-turned-fashion designer are being treated to a closer look at the perforated foam clog, and the response has been less than impressed, to say the least.

An all-white version of the shoe, which is rumored to have a 2020 release date, appeared in an editorial in the new issue of recently relaunched magazine The Face.

Social media users immediately started sharing their strong opinions about the slip-on. “It’s just a piece of 3D printed s—t,” wrote one follower, while another added, “I’d rather eat a pineapple pizza with a side of raisins than wear these.”

Although, as a third Twitter user pointed out: “Everyone hating on yeezy crocs rn but lets see what happens when they drop.”
