Family Drops Lawsuit Against Meek Mill For Wrongful Death

The family of a man killed outside Meek Mill’s concert has dismissed their wrongful death lawsuit against the rapper.

The estate for Jaquan Graves has dismissed all claims against the rapper and other defendants.

Meek had denied all allegations of wrongdoing or that he could have foreseen the shooting outside his 2016 show. He even argued police found gunshot reside on Jaquan’s body which would indicate he discharged a firearm.

The rapper has shut down a total of two lawsuits over the shooting, with only one still pending.

Back in 2017, Meek was sued for wrongful death by the estate of Jaquan Graves. The man was shot and killed in the parking lot outside the rapper’s 2016 concert in Connecticut.

The rapper was hit with a separate lawsuit by the estate of Travis Ward, another man who was killed during the shooting outside the venue. Both estates offered to settle their cases for $3 million dollars.

A total of three lawsuits were filed against Meek, Live Nation and the Oakdale Musical Theatre Company. They accused the defendants of being negligent in handling security at the concert. One lawsuit even tried to argue Meek’s raps incited violence and said the rapper had a history of shootings at his shows.

Meek Mill was recently spotted out with the very pregnant girlfriend Milano causing people to assume he's the father.
