Faith Evans has inked a deal with E1 Television and E1 Music to launch a reality show and new album it was announced today (February 8).
The reality show It’s All About Faith will chronicle Evans’ return to the recording industry after a five-year hiatus, in addition to juggling a home life with her husband/manager Todd Russaw and their four children.
Evans’ 6th album will be released on her own imprint, Prolific Music Group, which is distributed by E1 Music .
"2010 is shaping up to be an amazing year for me,“ Evans told AllHipHop.com in a statement. “To be in a place where I have grown from an entertainer to an entrepreneur is truly a blessing. I am excited to share this incredible experience with my fans and the world."
Faith Evans is the wife of the late Christopher “Notorious B.I.G.” Wallace and the first female singer to sign to Sean “Diddy” Combs’ Bad Boy Entertainment. She released three platinum albums with Bad Boy, including Faith, Keep The Faith and Faithfully.
In 2004 Evans left Bad Boy. The following year, she released The First Lady and A Faithful Christmas for Capitol Records.
