EX-REP. ERIC MASSA ANSWERED CHARGES HE GROPED MALE STAFFERS ON THE GLEN BECK SHOW! SAY'S IT WAS JUST TICKLE FIGHTS! C'MON SON!

Creepy ex-Rep. Eric Massa answered charges he groped male staffers on Tuesday by admitting it - but insisting it was just a tickle fight.

"They're saying I groped a male staffer. Yeah, I did," he told Fox News Channel host Glenn Beck in a bizarre hour-long interview, just after The Washington Post reported the groping complaints against the upstate Democrat.

"Not only did I grope him, I tickled him until he couldn't breathe and then four guys jumped on top of me - my 50th birthday - it was kill the old guy," the Navy veteran said.

Massa later told the Daily News he did not touch anyone in a no-no spot. "No, it wasn't sexual at all," he said. "It was horseplay. It was inappropriate horseplay."

Massa told Beck that he should not have been such a, um, hands-on boss. Such pastimes as "salty" talk and guy-on-guy tickle tussles came from his Navy days, he said.

"I should never have allowed myself to be as familiar with my staff as I was," said Massa, who shared a townhouse with bachelors on his staff. "I never translated from my days in the Navy to being a congressman."

Massa also hinted there could be more shoes to drop.

"I'm sure there's text messages," he said. "We bantered back and forth all the time."

What kind of text messages? "Inappropriate," he told The News, refusing to spell it out.

Massa announced last week hewasn't running for reelection because of cancer. Then he said he was quitting to avoid a probe into staffer complaints of sexual harassment.

For about a day, he became a hero of the right wing when he claimed in a weekend radio show that Democrats plotted his downfall because he opposes their health care reform bill.

Beck, the Fox firebrand, was so thrilled when he booked Massa Monday that he promised viewers "a moment that will decide the course of the nation, possibly."

But Massa told Beck: "I wasn't forced out. I forced myself out."

By the end of the show, an openly disgusted Beck declared he had wasted America's time.

At least Massa got the chance to double-down on his grudge against White House chief of staff Rahm Emanuel after calling him the "son of the Devil's spawn" who would "strap his children to the front end of a steam locomotive" to get a vote.

"I owe him an apology," Massa said of Emanuel, whom he accused of berating him in a naked House gym shower encounter. "He wouldn't do that. He'd tie my kids to the railroad to get a vote, but maybe not his."

Wrapping up a day of interviews on "Larry King Live," Massa's irritation showed.

"I am going away. I am not running for office and I am not doing any more interviews," he said.
