Ex-NFL Star Thomas Davis’ Estranged Wife Kelly Davis Arrested For Attacking Woman In Jealous Rage

The estranged wife of the former star NFL linebacker found herself behind bars after she allegedly attacked another woman she thought was having an affair with her husband. Kelly Davis has been accused of attacking chiropractor Laura Watterson at her office in Charlotte, North Carolina, “As I tried to guide her out the door of my office, she hit me and knocked my glasses off, then hit me again on the other side of the head,” Watterson stated in her complaint about Kelly. After the attack on August 26, a warrant was issued for the wife of Thomas Davis. She was taken into custody last week, on September 3. Kelly Davis has been charged with one count of misdemeanor assault and battery. Her attorney stated that the allegations are “false.” “We believe completely in Kelly’s innocence and we look forward to challenging the false allegations once we have a court date,” her lawyer James J. Exum added. Kelly and Thomas Davis got married in 2008, but by 2024, they would split after she claimed the longtime Carolina Panther “engaged in illicit sexual conduct with at least six women other than her while they were together, according to a court filing from February 2025.
