EWWW! KATY PERRY LOOKS LIKE A MILF WITH BLONDE HAIR!

Katy Perry has returned to her California roots.

After having to spend the past few weeks as a redhead due to a dye job gone wrong, the "California Gurls" singer has finally debuted her lighter, more-desired locks.

And while Perry, 26, appeared on MTV News Thursday to discuss her recent nine MTV Video Music Awards nominations, all eyes were on her new sun-kissed hue.

Given that Perry has had black hair since the start of her career, her new look may come as a shock to some. But to those closest to her, it may not come as a surprise since she's actually a natural blond.

The road to returning to her golden locks didn't come easy, however.

Last month, the singer hinted on Twitter that she was dying her hair, only to have it end in disappointment.

"So I didn't get to the exact color I wanted from being black for so long! 2get to goal I have 2b GINGER for 3WKS!" she wrote. "If I don't wait 3wks, I'll end up w/no hair or a [pixie '90s cut with a barrette in the front]. It's okay, I'll get to my secret color(s) soon!"

Now that Perry has finally reached her desired hue, only time will tell if she'll stick with the look.

It made her look 10 years older & I aint hating!
