Chris Rock‘s adolescence is heading back to screens. Because it’s been confirmed that hit series ‘Everybody Hates Chris’ is officially being rebooted as an animated series. Funnyman Rock is reportedly set to return in his role as narrator. The project is part of a development slate at CBS Studios and is actively being shopped in the marketplace. Early reports suggest Paramount+ (which previously went by CBS Access) is a strong contender to house the new incarnation of the series. Debuting in 2005, the coming-of-age comedy ran for four seasons and thrilled audiences with its hilarious take on Rock’s teen years. It starred Tyler James Williams in the titular role, as well as Terry Crews, Tichina Arnold, Tequan Richmond, Imani Hakim, and Vincent Martella.
