Dr. Dre and Rick Rubin are the executive producers of MMLP2, out Nov. 5. Eminem's eighth studio album follows 2010's Recovery, which bowed at No. 1 in Billboard with 741,000 copies.
A Beats By Dre headphones commercial announced the new effort during the MTV Video Music Awards Sunday night, after Eminem teased his latest effort on Twitter Sunday afternoon.
It's his first album since the Grammy Award-winning Recovery in 2010.
