Eminem and Kim share "a great friendship," but they are not set to reunite, says Eminem's rep, Dennis Dennehy.
Eminem and his former wife Kim have been married twice, but they are not rekindling their romance despite rumors of a reunion, according to eonline.com. The couple, which has a 17-year-old daughter Hailie, remain friendly, according to Eminem's rep, Dennis Dennehy.
"Marshall and Kim continue to maintain a great friendship and share in the parenting of their family," Eminem's rep, Dennis Dennehy, said to eonline.com.
E! News also says that Eminem's rep "insists the reports [of reconciliation] are not true."
Kim's mother, Kathleen Sluck, recently helped fuel rumors of a romantic reunion between Eminem and Kim.
''We see him all the time,” Kim’s mother, Kathleen Sluck, said in an interview with The Sun on Sunday newspaper, as per contactmusic.com. “I think they might get back together. They get on better than ever.''
In an interview with 20/20 in 2007, Kim spoke about her relationship with Eminem.
"We could talk to each other about anything," Kim said. "That was a big thing in our relationship, but I don't know if he was a good husband or not, really. He's the only husband I've been with, so I can't compare him to anybody else."
During the interview, Kim also spoke highly of Eminem's relationship with his daughter.
"He's an excellent father," Kim said. "He's always there for [Hailie]."
Eminem and Kim have been romantically linked since their teen years. They were married in 1995 and divorced in 2001. They remarried in 2006 and divorced once more within a year, as per eonline.com.
Eminem has custody of Whitney, Kim's child from another relationship, and Alaina, who is Kim's twin sister Dawn's daughter, according to eonline.com.
