Eminem Apparently Defended Chris Brown Over Brutal Assault Against Rihanna

A leaked snippet of what appears to be an old Eminem track has sparked outrage after the lyrics describe how the rapper defends Chris Brown over the Rihanna incident.

In the song, Eminem says he would “side with Chris Brown,” after the singer was accused of a brutal assault against Rihanna back in 2009. In the leaked audio, which has been removed from where it hosted online, he can be heard saying, “Of course I side with Chris Brown, I’d beat a b**** down too.”

Originally, A Reddit user posted the seven-second clip titled “(SNIPPET) Eminem – Things Get Worse (Rihanna dissed).” In the snippet, you could hear voiceovers which is meant to prevent a copyright infringement claim, however, the song was eventually removed.

According to reports, the verse was initially recorded for Eminem’s album, Relapse. The album dropped right around the same time Brown was being criminally charged with the beating. However, the rapper later used the song for his 2011 album, making it a part of a track called, 'Things Get Worse.'

The BoB version of the song wasn't a huge hit after its release, other obscene lyrics from the track include Eminem saying he “murdered” Dakota Fanning and “put Natasha Bedingfield in a washer," Also, Slim Shady had some less than favorable things to say about Angelina Jolie, Jessica Simpson, and Carmen Electra. He also took a shot at his mom, but that has been a theme over the years.
