They've entertained us for hours on end, but these reality show stars have been cursed by reality television and it's no laughing matter.

Former 'Real Housewives of Atlanta' star Lisa Wu-Hartwell announced via Twitter that she and her husband, former NFL pro Ed Hartwell, have split.

Wu-Hartwell, who starred on the first two seasons of the Bravo reality series, was quick to point out that the end of her six-year marriage was not prompted by the couple's financial difficulties. In 2009, their Atlanta mansion was sold in a foreclosure sale after the couple defaulted on their mortgage.

'Sadly. We are separated but would NEVER be over money,' she wrote. 'That is so far from the truth. Wish people could respect people's privacy during times like these."'

The couple married in 2005 and are parents to a 3-year-old son, Ed Jr. Wu-Hartwell has two older sons with her ex-husband, R&B singer Keith Sweat.
