Ebony's ‘Body Brigade’ Issue With Chrisette Michele And Jazmine Sullivan

If you got it, flaunt it!

Four stunning ladies show off their curves on the cover of Ebony's "Body Brigade" issue

Blogger and swimsuit designer Gabi Fresh, singer Jazmine Sullivan, "Orange is the New Black" star Danielle Brooks and Grammy-winner Chrisette Michele pose in military-inspired jackets, sexy heels and bodysuits as they discuss body image and self-acceptance in the magazine.

Brooks, who plays Tasha "Taystee" Jefferson on the Netflix prison-themed show, tweeted out the cover on social media.

"Just like sexy comes in different sizes, healthy does too."

Cover gal Chrisette also took to social media to talk about the spread. " I didn't get the point until we were all half dressed in a room full of lights. And I said, "Oh s#$*!, we're about to make some NOISE!"

Ebony's Editor-in-Chief Kierna Mayo said in a statement that the publication felt it was time to showcase body diversity because there is " a lot to unpack when it comes to honest emotions and conflicting ideals regarding size in America."

Adding, "Before we saw this season's gorgeous SI plus-size model on the cover or even Beyoncé's majestic "Formation," while planning our women's issue, we felt a tug at our editorial hearts to make a collective statement for the majority of black women. Women size 12 and up."

Plus-size model Ashley Graham made a splash when she was one of three models are featured in 2016 Sports Illustrated's 52nd annual swimsuit.

Graham, a size 16, is the second plus-sized hottie featured in the magazine — after Robyn Lawley, who appeared last year.
