A Florida murder suspect was busted after he accidentally butt-dialed 911 and was heard talking about how he'd kill a rival, police said.
Scott Simon, 24, was allegedly overheard by a dispatcher in the early hours of May 5 saying he would follow another man home and murder him.
Minutes later, 33-year-old Nicholas Walker was gunned down as he drove on the I-95 in Lauderhill.
His car crashed into a center guard rail and exploded into flames.
Cops don't think Simon, of Pompano Beach, fired the shots at Walker. But they do believe he was "heavily involved" in the crime.
The pair had earlier been caught on surveillance camera arguing at a Waffle House restaurant.
Simon was tracked down, arrested and charged with first degree murder, reports the Herald Sun.
Detectives are still hunting for another suspect and have released footage of who they believe him to be.
