Drake Surpasses The Beatles’ Billboard Hot 100 Record

Drake has yet another reason to cue “Trophies.”

The rapper trumped The Beatles’ Billboard Hot 100 record, thanks to his contribution to iLoveMakonnen’s “Tuesday.” The track entered in at No. 90 on the chart, marking Drizzy’s 72nd appearance. The Beatles’ record stood at 71 entries, placing Drake at the eight all-time spot as he now falls behind Aretha Franklin, Ray Charles, Jay Z, James Brown, Lil’ Wayne, Elvis and Glee.

Drake’s Young Money boss Lil’ Wayne is the reigning rapper on the Hot 100, racking up 122 entries on the list. Jay Z comes in second with 82. The hit TV show Glee tops the all-time record with a whopping 207 entries. It seems likely that Drake will be coming for Weezy and Hov’s spots, as he’s managed to break The Beatles’ record in a fraction of the time.

Sharing his accomplishment on Instagram, Mr. Graham kept his caption simple:

“Bigger fish to fry my G #SOUND,” he wrote.
