IN THE STREETS & ON THE WEB

Drake released a new song titled "Draft Day" on Tuesday to the surprise of fans and music lovers.

With a slowed down track sample from Lauryn Hill's 1998 hit "Doo-Wop (That Thing)," Drizzy rhymes a roster of names including his pal Johnny Manziel or (Johnny Football), the star Texas A&M quarterback heading to the pros.

Drake even posted a photo of Manziel being kissed by two girls on soundcloud with the track.

The song also gave shout-outs to NBA player Andrew Wiggins and Academy Award-winning actress Jennifer Lawrence, for whom Drake raps his affection.

"On some 'Hunger Games' s--t I would die for my District/Jennifer Lawrence you can really get it/I mean for real, girl you know I had to do it for ya."

But it's not all love on the 27-year-old Canadian rapper's new cut, currently available for download and streaming at Soundcloud. He drops Chance the Rapper's name, although he's said he doesn't personally know him.

Drake even seems to make a subtle reference to Jay Z and Kanye West when he says, "Just hits, no misses/That's for the married folks."

The poke could be in response to Jay Z's mention of Drake on his "Jay Electronica" song when he said, "Sorry Mr. Drizzy for so much art talk/Silly me rappin' bout s--t that I really bought/Why these rappers rap about guns they ain't shot?/And a bunch of other silly s--t that they ain't got."

Drake's track comes as a surprise to fans as it's not a part of his chart-topping fourth album, "Nothing Was the Same."
Another dig to Yeezus is how Drake managed to get the Hill sample that West tried and failed to obtain in 2004, according to Billboard.
