Drake may be a Toronto native, but he can’t get enough of Atlanta strip clubs.
The artist, 32, loves to hit the clubs so much that he created a line of merch with Magic City, one of Atlanta’s hottest clubs. Magic City — which has hosted performances with rappers like Young Thug, Future and 2 Chainz — lends its name to t-shirts, sweatshirts and joggers. The name also co-mingles with Drake’s “Scorpion” album logo and imagery. There are also designs featuring money, the club’s logo and, naturally, strippers and strip poles.
Prices range from $45 for a t-shirt to $120 for a sweatshirt, with more designs to be released on November 21. A few designs even use glow-in-the-dark prints and thread so that fans can stand out even at night.
This isn’t the first time that Aubrey has shown love for the club. In the 2015 song “Plastic Bag,” he rapped, “Oh yeah, Magic City on a Monday, yeah/ Esco treat that s—t like church on a Sunday.” The “Nice For What” singer’s “Scorpion City” capsule collection comes just a few days after he closed out the North American leg of his “Aubrey and the Migos” tour with three nights in Atlanta.
