Drake’s “Degrassi”-era notebook is on sale for a cool $54,000.
The beaten-up purple spiral notebook — containing about 12 pages of lyrics, including what appears to be the rapper’s homage to Biggie Smalls’ “Ten Crack Commandments,” titled “10 Mack Commandments” — is being sold through Moments In Time.
Gary Zimet, owner of Moments In Time, told TMZ that a member of the cleanup crew at Drake’s grandfather’s furniture factory discovered the notebook about 10 years ago. It also features signatures of Drake’s real name, Aubrey Graham, as well as personal notes, phone numbers and scribbles.
It’s unclear when each entry was written, but the copyright in the front of the book is dated 2002, which is one year after Drake began his eight-year role on “Degrassi.”
The sale is currently underway.
