Officially the butt of jokes, disgraced slugger Alex Rodriquez was needled on “Saturday Night Live.”
Played by rapper Drake, who hosted the show, A-Rod was portrayed as a habitual liar who sues everyone in sight.
Apart from taking legal aim at Major League Baseball and the players’ union, Drake’s A-Rod said, “I’m also suing steroids for being inside of me.”
He then blamed autocorrect for his incriminating text messages with Biogenesis owner Anthony Bosch, adding, “That’s why I’m suing my iPhone as well as the dictionary.”
The Yankees third baseman, who was banned by MLB for the entire 2014 season for PED use, was spoofed on the opening skit of the NBC show in a segment that mocked a couple of other celebrities who were caught in recent controversies: New Jersey governor Chris Christie and egg-tossing teen idol Justin Bieber.
