Drake's latest celebrity concert guest was a slam dunk.
NBA superstar LeBron James joined the "Hotline Bling" rapper onstage Saturday night at his performance in Columbus, Ohio, earning a raucous reception from the jam-packed crowd.
"Ohio, if you don't make some noise for 'the King' right now you're out of your mind," Drake proclaimed as the Cleveland Cavaliers star appeared in front of the screaming audience.
Drake then broke into his fan-favorite hit "Pop Style" as the NBA Finals MVP danced around the stage. The rapper even altered the song's lyrics at one point in James' honor, reciting, "Bronny, Bronny had to handle that one his way."
The bellowing crowd at the Nationwide Arena only got louder after the song wrapped up, with the spotlight focusing solely on James as he took over the microphone.
"Yo one time, Columbus, Ohio, give it up for Drizzy motherf---ing Drake," the four-time NBA MVP urged the audience.
It wasn't long before Drake returned the favor prompting the concertgoers to give one final round of applause for the man they call King James.
"And one more time, for the man who came back home and brought a motherf---ing championship instead of doing anything different," he said. "Make some noise for the King. LeBron James is here tonight. It's love, man. That's a hometown hero right there."
The crowd then began an "MVP" chant for James, who departed the stage shortly after.
James, 31, memorably exchanged words with Drake, a noted Raptors fan, during the Cavaliers' playoff series versus Toronto earlier this year. Any bad blood between them, however, appeared to be long gone by Saturday's show.
The three-time NBA champion, who just signed a three-year, $100 million deal to stay in Cleveland, is the latest big-name star to appear onstage during Drake's massive "Summer Sixteen" tour. Other big names at recent shows include acclaimed artists Rihanna and Kanye West.
