Drake And Gucci Mane Might Be Working On A Joint Project

According to Zaytoven, big homie Guwop and Drake might be working on a project together. The Atlanta producer recently sat down with XXL discussing the possibility following “Back On Road,” and about the viral photo featuring himself, Guwop, Drake and Mike WiLL Made-It.

“We were doing the video for Gucci Mane’s first video for the album,” he said. “It was featuring Young Thug but Young Thug wasn’t there yet. We were in there talking and Drake just came by because he was in town and wanted to stop through. We just got to talkin’ about doing a project together—Gucci and Drake together. We were sitting there talking about that until the picture happened. And it went viral from there.”

The producer is currently working on Beast Mode 16 with Future, the follow-up to the first installment which dropped in 2015. “It got a lot of special music on there,” he explained. “We recording a bunch of songs together, we’re still going. We did like two more last night. We really are trying to put a work of art together. We got to outdo the first one so we just got different ways and different sounds. It’s something new.”

When asked about a Gucci and Future collab, Zaytoven said he’d definitely try to make it happen.
