According to court documents, Dr. Dre’s estranged wife of 24 years, Nicole Young, is trying to force three of his alleged mistresses to spill the tea on her soon-to-be ex-husband.
The women, all named in the court-filing of the bitter divorce, include: singer Jillian Speer, skin care entrepreneur Kili Anderson, and Crystal Rogers aka Crystal Sierra, who is known as the ‘Queen of Latin hip-hop.’
But the three women want no part in the couple’s divorce battle and are fighting Nicole’s efforts to subpoena them as witnesses.
According to Mailonline, Kris LaFan, the lawyer representing the alleged mistresses, filed a motion on October 27, saying the women have no “information relevant to the enforceability” of the premarital agreement. The filing, however, did not provide any insight as to whether Speer, Anderson, and Rogers were involved in extramarital affairs with Dr. Dre, as Young claims.
LaFan stated: “Any extra marital affair would be irrelevant because California is a no-fault divorce state and in a pleading or proceeding for dissolution of marriage or legal separation of the parties, including depositions and discovery proceedings, evidence of specific acts of misconduct is improper and inadmissible.”
The couple’s split centers on a disputed pre-marital agreement they signed in 1996. While Dre whose real name is Andre Young, says the prenup still exists, Nicole says he tore up the document in a romantic gesture after they were married.
Dr. Dre characterized his wife’s spousal support request as “opportunistic and rooted in anger.” He stated that he was already financing Nicole’s lifestyle, which includes her continued residence in his $25 million Malibu mansion.
Last month, Dre accused Young of criminal conduct in embezzling more than $350,000 from one of their bank accounts.
