West Coast legend rapper Bad Azz has passed away at the age of 43.
Several rappers took to social media to confirm the news including Snoop Dogg and Daz Dillinger.
According to court records, Bad Azz, real name Jamarr Antonio Stamps, died while he was behind bars at the Southwest Detention Center in Riverside, CA.
The rapper had been arrested, according to the Sheriff's records on a domestic violence charge. He was taken into custody on November 8, by Wildomar Police Department and was scheduled to be in court Thursday.
A cause of death has not yet to be released, but Bad Azz's friends including Snoop Dogg seem to be confirming he died while in jail. His bail was set at just $10,000, but it appears he never bailed out.

Badazz was a west coast rapper and affiliated with Snoop's 'Dogg Pound.' Bad Azz, Daz Dillinger, Kurupt, Warren G, Nate Dogg are others associated with Tha Dogg Pound Gangsta Crips based out of Long Beach.
The rapper collaborated with tons of stars including, plus Tupac, Bizzy Bone, The Lady of Rage, Ice Cube, Busta Rhymes and others. He put out four solo albums and was featured on others.
