It may sound like a corny bit, but amid reports of the mogul’s impending purchase of a sprawling Florida mansion, it rings true.
Khaled, who boasts 4.16 million followers on Twitter and 12.1 million followers on Instagram, is in contract to buy a lavish Miami Beach lair that was listed for $25.9 million, spies tell the Wall Street Journal.
It appears the deal has not yet closed, and the final purchase price is not yet known. What’s almost certain — considering Khaled famously Snapchatted the birth of his son in 2016 — is that fans will enjoy plenty of insider peeks at the new perch.
Khaled — real name Khaled Mohamed Khaled, who’s worked with hip-hop moguls such as Kanye West and Snoop Dogg, and released his own music — will get a nearly 13,000-square-foot main house with five bedrooms. Its fittings include a home theater with plush seats, a double-height foyer, a marble fireplace and an open chef’s kitchen.
Outside is a bi-level gazebo, an outdoor shower, a four-bedroom guesthouse and a swimming pool nearly 80 feet long.
Khaled is buying the nearly 1-acre property from Michael Lerner, a guy who got rich marketing “Baby on Board” car signs in the 1980s. Lerner built the house after buying the plot of land for $4.95 million in 2013. He’s reportedly moving to Palm Beach.
