DJ Drama says that "Dedication 5" is mostly freestyles, but Wayne is bringing his skits back.
We heard that Lil Wayne is working on a Dedication 5 mixtape at the beginning of June, when the YMCMB rapper dropped his "Bugatti" freestyle. Now we have a few more tidbits of information about the tape, and as is usual with the Dedication mixtape series, you'll be hearing plenty more freestyles like "Bugatti" on it.
DJ Drama spoke to VIBE while on the red carpet at the BET Awards, and revealed that the project may actually be arriving sooner than we think, although he once again asked people to be patient for it.
"It might be sooner than people think. I'ma just say be patient," Drama said, before confirming that the two have already been recording.
"It's mostly freestyles, that's what Dedication is known for," Drama revealed. "We're also gunna get the skits back, so we'll definitely get some of that entertaining value of Wayne talking what he talks, like in Dedication 1, 2 and 3."
