Pals of DJ Cassidy hit the New York Public Library on Wednesday night for the spinmaster’s 28th birthday bash, but many found themselves in a less-than-celebratory mood.
“Everyone was getting denied at the door!” exclaimed one partygoer, who witnessed R&B singer Shontelle patiently wait for nearly an hour to get into the fete. Among those who did make it in were Jay-Z, Nas and Bobby Brown, who gave an impromptu performance.
