Sean “Diddy” Combs will be contributing to the funeral costs for his friend Black Rob — after the pair reconnected just before his death, Page Six has learned.

Rob, who was once on Diddy’s Bad Boy record label, died at the age of 51 on Saturday at Atlanta’s Grady Memorial Hospital after suffering a myriad of health issues

We can confirm that Diddy — who called Rob “one of a kind” — reached out to Rob at hospital before his passing, as a source said, “Diddy offered help for Rob, but in the end, sadly, it was too late.”

“But he wants to make sure that Rob is laid to rest with dignity and according to his wishes. He is helping to make the funeral arrangements,” the source added.

Diddy mourned Rob — best known for his 2000 hit “Whoa!” — on Sunday as he posted a photo of the pair together on Instagram and wrote, “Rest in power King!”

“As I listen to your records today there’s one thing that they all have in common!” Combs continued. “You have made millions of people all over the world feel good and dance! You are one of a kind! GOD BLESS! Love. You will be truly missed!!!!”

But some fans slammed Diddy after his social media tribute, saying the music mogul should’ve done more to help Rob during his darkest days.

One commenter wrote Diddy can “go to hell. where tf were you when he was homeless.”

“You are not nice…. Shame on you!” another fan commented.

Rob’s death was confirmed by friend and fellow rapper Mark Curry, who was with him at the time of his death.

Curry told Rolling Stone that the cause of death was cardiac arrest caused by a rare kidney disease.

The rapper — whose real name was Robert Ross — had a history of kidney failure and diabetes and had suffered several strokes in past years.

Rob’s friends had set up a GoFundMe for treatment and funds to pay for a home before his death.

He shocked fans with an Instagram post from hospital last week where he mourned rapper DMX and spoke of his own pain.

He was discharged shortly after and in another post revealed that he was near homelessness and battling various health ailments. “Oh man, I’ve been dealing with this for five years,” he said. “Four strokes … I don’t know what to tell you, man. S–t is crazy. The s–t is hard.”

He was hospitalized yet again on Saturday, where he died.

Curry said that Diddy, who signed Ross, spoke to him on Friday and that the pair reconnected after losing touch through the years.

“Before Rob passed, he said, ‘One thing I was going to do before I leave this earth is make sure we all speak to each other again.’ It’s always great to see when people are growing and learning to forgive.”
