Just days after releasing his remix to Future's "Sh!t," Lil Wayne seems to have confirmed that his Sorry 4 the Wait 2 mixtape will be released on Tuesday (Jan. 20).
Weezy reportedly confirmed the news with the release of a teaser video on Jan. 17. "Sorry for the wait, the confusion, the disturbance," he raps on the track, a remix of Makonnen's "Maneuvering," featured in the video.
The mixtape should tide fans over who are waiting for the release Weezy's Tha Carter V album. The rapper's long-time manager Cortez Bryant took to Instagram earlier this week, not only showing support for Lil Wayne, but also the rest of the Young Money roster.
"Wayne carried Cash Money on his back for over 10 years when he could have left and did this on his own," he wrote on Jan. 13. "The most loyal person I know on earth! He don't deserve the shit he's going through at this point in the game."
