Damon Dash Asks Judge To Keep His Ex-Wife And Baby Mama’s Hands Off His Money

Damon Dash wants a judge to step in and shut down his ex-wife and baby mama from getting a cut of his settlement money from Lee Daniels.

According to court documents obtained by The Blast, Dash is requesting for a judge to vacate subpoenas both his ex-wife Rachel Roy and baby mama Cindy Morales fired off to Daniels.

Rachel and Cindy are owed back child support and are trying to get their hands on the money Daniels owes Dash, per a settlement.

In his newly filed docs, Dash says the amounts both Roy and Morales are claiming to be owed in support arrears are inaccurate. He says some of his business income was garnished and “substantial additional monies paid by Dash on the Support Collection Unit accounts were finally acknowledged by their office on August 16, 2018.”

Dash seems to believe the two are owed hundreds of thousands less than they claim. He wants the judge to not allow them to touch a dime of the settlement.

Roy and Morales have yet to respond.

Lee Daniels recently sued Damon Dash, Rachel Roy and Cindy Morales. Daniels says Roy and Morales have both served him with subpoenas to find out how much exactly the settlement with Dash is, and claiming they are both owed money in child support from the music producer.

Daniels sued seeking a court order helping him figure out who the money should go to, saying he needs to figure it out quickly because the next payment on the settlement is due this month.

Dash allegedly owes Roy $850,000 in back child support, which includes money owed from their divorce. Morales claims to be owed around $65,000 in back support.

In November, Dash settled his $5 million lawsuit with Daniels in which he accused the director of screwing him out of credit on a Richard Pryor film project.
