Two men in Florida have been arrested for allegedly hijacking two radio station's frequencies in order to play music from their group's album on air.
According to published reports, Mikhaul Rhodd and his partner in both rhyme and crime Maurice Roland were arrested after police traced the pirating frequency back to a home where Rhodd was staying.
Police reports indicate that Rhodd was able to hijack the frequencies by rigging together a laptop, audio mixer, computer and large industrial antenna in order to over-power the airwaves of two South Florida radio stations with his own pirate radio broadcast.
The local Christian and classical music stations listeners and employees were shocked and appalled by the sudden takeover of the intrusive show dubbed "'Trap Radio".
Rhodd, who raps under the name Blakk Babi, and charged him with a combination of unauthorized transmission and interference with public or commercial radio.
As of press time, no word on whether the two had been released on bond.
