DAMN! IT'S HARD OUT HERE FOR A PIMP! MAN FACES 25 YEARS FOR PIMPING A CHICK FOR 12 DAYS!

A Queens pimp who "bought" a woman for $2,000 has become the first person convicted under a harsh sex-trafficking law signed by former Gov. Eliot Spitzer.
David Brown, 32, was found guilty late Tuesday of sex trafficking, kidnapping and other charges for advertising the services of an enslaved 19-year-old prostitute on craigslist in August 2008.

Prosecutors told a Queens Supreme Court jury that Brown paid $2,000 to an ex-girlfriend to purchase the woman, took nude photographs of her and posted them online.

Over 12 days in August 2008, the woman engaged in sex acts with 30 men, and Brown collected payments ranging from $60 to $200, prosecutors said.

"This office continues to use every tool allowed under the law to prosecute dangerous individuals like this defendant and to seek justice for victims," said Queens District Attorney Richard Brown.

Brown, of St. Albans, faces 25 years in prison when he is sentenced on Jan. 15, 2010. Before the new law, he would have faced a maximum of seven years.

Spitzer pushed for tougher sex-trafficking laws while attorney general and signed the measure into law in June 2007.

Some nine months later he was forced from office when his own liaisons with a prostitute became public.
