A Bronx teen was arrested Thursday in the shooting death of a college student who had stuck up for his kid brother in a shake-down attempt over 50 cents, cops said.
Dasheem Campbell, 19, was allegedly among the pack of punks that tried Monday night to rob Willmer Hernandez's 16-year-old brother in an Allerton deli.
The siblings were there to buy food for a trip to Universal Studios in Orlando the next day.
When the thugs demanded that Hernandez's brother Steven hand over 50 cents, Willmer, 20, stepped in between and was shot three times in the abdomen, cops said.
He was rushed to Jacobi Hospital where he died.
Campbell, who lives just six blocks away from Hernandez on Mace Ave., is charged with murder.
Hernandez worked at Red Lobster and attended Borough of Manhattan Community College.
