Damn! $100 Million Worth Of Coke Found On A Yacht

Cocaine worth $100 million has been found stashed inside a yacht sailing off the Irish coast.

Customs officers allegedly found up to a ton of the illegal drug after stepping on board the Makayabella some 200 miles south-west of Mizen Head Tuesday morning.

Three British crew members, from West Yorkshire in England, were detained in the raid.

A fourth man, not believed to have been on board, was also arrested on suspicion of conspiracy to import cocaine.

It's unclear, however, exactly where his arrest took place.

The vessel, believed to be sailing to north Wales, was initially identified as being suspicious by the National Crime Agency.

Officers asked the Irish Navy to intercept the craft.

It led to a joint sea operation alongside the Revenue Customs Service and An Garda Síochána.

A Defence Forces Ireland spokesman said it was one of Ireland's biggest drug hauls of the last 10 years.

Ireland's Defence Minister Simon Coveney congratulated all agencies involved for their "pivotal role in the success of the operation," reports Sky News.
