CSI NY Actor Micah Beals Arrested For Vandalizing George Floyd Statue

Actor Micah Beals, who is best known for his role in CSI: NY, was arrested yesterday for vandalizing the George Floyd memorial statue in New York earlier this month. The 37-year-old actor, whose real name is Micah Fernia, allegedly threw paint on the statue of Floyd on October 3 just four days after the statue was unveiled. The NYPD released surveillance footage of the vandal on October 4  showing a skateboarder going into his knapsack and pulling out a can of paint, which he threw at the new sculpture. Before being apprehended by the NYPD, Beal was arrested for a curfew violation during the January 6 Capitol Hill Riots. Beals is now being charged with second-degree criminal mischief, which carries a potential sentence of up to seven years in prison.
