More than a month since completing a 366-day stint in prison on federal weapons charges, T.I. is opening up about his time behind bars to CNN’s Larry King.
The rapper/actor will sit down with the famed interviewer Thursday (May 13) for an exclusive chat on Larry King Live.
In addition to revealing what it was like to spend nine months in prison, T.I. will field questions from fans.
The Larry King Live appearance will be the rapper’s major first interview since 2009.
T.I. , who served time last year after being busted for attempting to purchase machine guns and silencers in October 2007, was released from a halfway house in Atlanta on March 26.
This summer, the entertainer will release his highly anticipated follow-up to 2008’s Paper Trail, King Uncaged.
The album, which features the single “I’m Back,” is slated to hit stores Aug. 17.
Prior to the release of King Uncaged, T.I. will perform alongside artists from his Grand Hustle record label at The Return of the King Memorial Day Weekend Extravaganza. The event will take place May 30 at the Klutch Nightclub in Miami.
T.I.’s appearance on Larry King Live will air at 9 p.m. EST Thursday on CNN.
