Ciara's legal woes keep dragging on.
A lawyer for the singer filed legal documents dismissing the libel claim against her former fiancé, rapper Future, TMZ said.
According to the gossip website, she's making too much money and would have to prove her career financially suffered in order to win in court.
Ciara alleged in the original lawsuit that Future acted with “actual malice” when he falsely claimed in a Twitter rant posted Jan. 4 that she refused to allow him to see their son, despite that fact that he paid $15,000 per month in child support.
“This b---h got control problems…” one of the tweets said.
He added, "I gotta go through lawyers to see babyfuture…the f--kery for 15k a month."
The tweets “were so completely false that defendant had to know the damage he would cause plaintiff,” Ciara claimed in the lawsuit.
In July, the 30-year-old amended the documents in her defamation suit against the "Wicked" rapper, stating his “frightening” and “socially irresponsible” comments have made her fear for Wilson's life, TMZ reported.
The former couple were engaged and broke up in 2014. They have a 2-year-old son, Future Jr.
Ciara is now married to Seattle Seahawks quarterback, Russell Wilson.
TMZ said that she still is pursuing a "false light lawsuit" against her ex, which doesn't require plaintiffs to provide proof of lost income.
