Are Chris Brown and Karrueche Tran back on?

Even though the two recently called it quits, the exes are sparking engagement rumors after Tran posted a blingy Instagram photo on Thursday.

The 26-year-old model posted a picture of her hand sporting two diamond rings, which she captioned with a heart emoji. Even though Tran was wearing the sparklers on her right hand, the jewelry has led some to speculate that she and Brown might have gotten engaged over the holidays.

The two are famous for their on-again, off-again relationship, including a vitriolic social media exchange earlier this month after the R&B star announced during a concert that he was single. This caused the two to slam each other with personal attacks online, including Brown accusing his ex of cheating on him with Drake.

The “Forever” singer apologized soon after, describing himself as “young and dumb.”

"Everybody know I love that girl,” he added. “I don't care how my image look to the public because I'm still gonna be the best at what I do. I just want baby girl to know I apologize!"

Even if the Brown and Tran aren’t engaged, Brown’s apology might have smoothed things over for the pair. TMZ reports that the two were seen leaving a Los Angeles nightclub early Wednesday morning.
