Chris Brown got into a small fender bender last week, but the minor incident could turn into a major problem for the singer.
After rear-ending a Mercedes on May 21, Brown has now become the target of a hit-and-run investigation because he allegedly refused to give the driver his license number.
According to TMZ, Brown, 24, hit a woman's car with his Range Rover while driving with rumored flame Karreuche Tran, but the singer gave her the wrong insurance information when they stopped to assess damage.
Because he left the scene "without fully disclosing information," the pop star could be slapped with a hit-and-run charge.
Brown was given five years of probation for the 2009 assault of ex-girlfriend Rihanna. Since he has to obey all laws during the term, a hit-and-run charge could amass to a probation violation.
The price of breaking the rules for Brown would be up to four years behind bars. According to TMZ, Los Angeles Police are requesting to talk to the singer about the incident as soon as possible.
