Have Drake and Chris Brown squashed their beef?

A photo of the music stars hanging out in a recording studio was shared by Drizzy’s official fansite on Instagram Friday.

In the picture, Drake is seen standing with his arms folded while Brown is closing his eyes and gesturing with his arms, looking as if he was feeling the music. (Brown also shared an Instagram photo from the studio of girlfriend Karrueche Tran and three other women on Friday, which he later deleted from his account.) The photo of Drizzy and Breezy has received more than 13,000 likes to date.

The sight of the two in the same room together is surprising when considering they got into a bottle-throwing brawl at a New York City nightclub in June 2012. That fight was believed to be over Rihanna, whom they both have dated. Most recently, Drake and Rihanna reportedly dated for a brief time before splitting up in May.

When asked about the nightclub altercation with Brown last year, Drake said that he doubted that the two would work out their differences.

"I don't want my name to be synonymous with that guy's name,” he told GQ in 2013. “I wish we could sit down, just like you and me are right now, and talk it out man-to-man. But that's not going to happen.”

But since Drake and Rihanna are no longer together and Brown is dating Tran, it seems that the former rivals have patched things up.

While fans wait to see if the two are collaborating on new music, for now both have other projects lined up: Drake is launching a co-headlining tour with Lil Wayne in August, while Brown recently released a new track called “New Flame,” featuring Usher and Rick Ross.
