Chris Brown does not have to attend domestic violence prevention classes after all.
The 28-year-old rapper was reportedly sentenced to a 52-week batterer intervention program after a judge ordered him to stay away from ex-girlfriend Karrueche Tran, but it was actually a clerical error.
An amended restraining order filed on Monday reveals, “The issue was not raised at the hearing and the court makes no order for respondent to participate in a batterer intervention program.” The document, which was obtained by Page Six, says the court has since fixed the error.
Last week, the judge ordered the restraining order be kept in place for five years, Tran’s lawyer confirmed to Page Six.
TMZ reported Brown became aggressive toward Tran when she refused to return money and diamonds he gave her when they were together.
The 29-year-old model reportedly said in court he sent threatening texts like, “Bitch I will beat the s–t out of you.”
The pair dated on and off for five years.
