Chris Brown Accused Of ‘Sucker’ Punching Photographer At Tampa Nightclub

Chris Brown could be facing more legal trouble after a Tampa nightclub photographer accused the embattled singer of punching him in the face.

Bennie L. Vines, a photographer at the AJA Channelside nightclub, claims he was "sucker punched" by Brown for taking pictures of him at around 1 a.m. Monday after the singer and his group arrived at the venue, the Tampa Police Department told the Daily News.

Brown, 27, had already left the scene by the time police arrived at the nightclub. The photographer told police that he wants to prosecute the "Look At Me Now" singer after allegedly suffering a minor cut to his lip, and detectives continue to investigate the situation.

The AJA nightclub addressed the incident on its Facebook page with a post echoing Vines' accusations.

"After only a few minutes of being there, Chris Brown himself and his team assaulted our club photographer and proceeded to walk out of the venue," the Facebook post read. "AJA Channelside and our employees apologize for the inconvenience. Assault charges were pressed and we are dealing with the proper authorities accordingly."

Vines refused to receive medical attention following the incident.

Brown attended the AJA Channelside club for a paid appearance.

The latest allegations come weeks after Brown's ex-girlfriend Karrueche Tran accused the singer of assaulting her several years ago. She also alleged he threatened to kill her this past February, according to TMZ.

Brown has previously pleaded guilty in 2009 to felony assault on Rihanna, who he was dating. He pleaded guilty to misdemeanor assault in 2014 after an altercation in Washington D.C. with a man on the street.
