Charlie Sheen's latest hits were not with drugs, but with a baseball.
The "Two and a Half Men" star found time for a little batting practice at the University of California Los Angeles on Thursday.
Apparently, Sheen's at-home rehab doesn't forbid him from leaving his house as he undergoes treatment.
Sheen, 45, played with some Bruins team members and major league players, including the Athletics' Coco Crisp and the Mariners' Milton Bradley.
According to TMZ.com, the actor brought his own bat and came close to hitting a home run.
But the excursion wasn't supposed to be all fun and games.
The Bruins' head coach, John Savage, reportedly asked Sheen to speak to the team about drugs.
It's not clear how long the talk lasted, but a short clip posted on TMZ shows the troubled sitcom star amusing the team with his attempt at giving advice.
"Stay off the crack. Drink chocolate milk," a gaunt-looking Sheen said. "Enjoy every moment. That's all I got."
His statements were met with laughs and applause.
But a UCLA spokesperson told X17Online.com that Sheen actually crashed the Bruins' practice.
"Charlie was not invited to speak with the team," the school's sports information director said. "He was hitting with some current and former major leaguers prior to UCLA practice went over to the group of our players on his way off the field and spoke briefly to them."
