At 27, I got the tests and that’s when they found it … on the right side of my brain,” she shared. “So when you, my own mother, swing at my head? That’s not just triggering. That’s life-threatening. ”Though some fans questioned Chantel’s reasoning for pushing her mother, she explained the adrenaline of the moment. “She balled up her fist and aimed for my head. I ducked, fell into the cameraman and that’s how my finger ended up bleeding,” she said. “Her intention was to probably sock me in between the washer and dryer, but that’s not the way that that happened. “I didn’t come into this season to fight my mama.
